I believe Simon Cooper is still testing the port. (If I left a name out send flames to /dev/null ..:-}> The source can be obtained through prep.ai.mit.edu /pub/gnu You want gcc-2.2.2 NOW for the bad news .. The i860.md is brain dead and needs a lot of work to start producing efficient code. There are times EVEN with the -O2 turned on in which an instruction that requires a register to be loaded follows the load instruction. BUT with some cooperation from the NET .. the i860 guru's in this world actually may make a difference and improve the current gcc port ... --- ********************************************* David R.
