Looking at the documentation, I infer that to install gcc one must already have a working c compiler. Failing that, one cross-compiles by using a compiler on some other computer. Am I correct so far? Chuck Metalitz u13272@uicvm.uic.edu Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission
