I am attempting to install gcc on an iris 4D/80GT running IRIX 3.3.2.
I believe this uses COFF-encapsulation. I am stuck here...

I have no file named README-ENCAP in any directory distributed with gcc-1.40
Where can I find it?

Also, what exactly do I need in terms of a library to work with gcc?
Just the one included?

Thank you for any help you can provide.
