Building gcc on a Stardent?

We've recently acquired a (somewhat obsolete) Stardent graphics box --
MIPS chips, sysv-ish "TitanOS", etc -- and we'd like to run gcc (and
emacs, too) on it, but are clueless on where to begin.

I'd appreciate it if anyone w/ any experience porting for a Stardent
would send some email. Thanks...
