Help please I have installed gcc on my ibm 386 computer on drive d. I set the
enviorment variables like the instructions said. However, I tried using them w
ith a forward slash '/' like on Unix and with a backward slash '\'. Either way
the settings were there as i typed set and I saw them , but they refused to wo
rk. What happens is that I have a bisic C file and I try to compile it and it
lists the .h files and says that each can not be found. However, each file is
in the directory that the enviorment variables are set to. I have no clue why
it will not even get to the code, it just can not find those files. They are m
ath.h, stdio.h. Please HELP!!!!!
Thank you for your help in advance.
Please mail me your response I have a hard time getting to the netnews system.
thanks
