Hi Could someone email me with any info regarding the possibility of accessing specific memory locations in a PC. I would like to convert 'normal' DOS programs which use 'far pointers' set to d000000 to access data in an acquisition card and to communicate with its on-board Z80. I am not sure how to access physical memory while in the extended and protected mode offered by djgpp. Easy? possible? such a pain that it is not worth the hassle? Thanks Neil
