Problem between gcc and X Window/Motif

Hello network friends !

I've installed gcc-2.1 without problems on my DECstation 3100 under
Ultrix 4.2a. Ok !

But I have a problem when I try to use gcc to compile a program for X
Window/Motif (for example, the programs in Young's book "X Window
System Programming and Applications with Xt - OSF/Motif Edition"). The
compilation seems Ok, but when I try to execute the program, I have the messages
 :

>> X Toolkit Warning : Cannot find callback list in XtAddCallbacks.
>> ...
>> X Toolkit Warning : Cannot find callback list in XtAddCallbacks.

And effectively the menu doesn't work.

When I use the native compiler cc of DEC, I have no problem.

Can somebody help me ?
