Several of the glibc includes are identical to the includes files that come with gcc, like limits.h, stddef.h and so on. They conflict -- so much for standards. So who is more correct? In the case of stddef.h, there is no problem if the glibc version is included before the gcc version but not vice versa. Since cccp wants to include the gcc versions first in its default dir search, this conflict arises. Should the glibc files with the same name as the gcc includes be considered more correct and just replace them? Or is there some interdepency (which I suspect for limits.h). -- ``So you put 2 and 2 together and came up with 22?'' ``Yes!'' David Becker beckerd@cs.unc.edu - Northern Exposure
