what to do with info files? How about a manual?

Hi! I just installed gcc (actually the makes are running now) and I'm
wondering what to do with the files *.info. Are these info files like
in emacs?

Also, can I get a postscript copy of the manual? I checked out
cs.ubc.ca but it only has gcc-2.2.1.ps.Z, and I have gcc 2.3.1. Is
there a manual for this version yet in postscript? (I don't have TeX
running on this system).

Thanks.
