What type of program is GCC?  I mean, is it freeware or pd or shareware or
commercial?  Or is it bundled with the OS?  How can I get a copy?  How big is
it?  Does it run only under Unix, or is it multi-platform?  Does it support
DOS?  Sorry so uninformed.
