Thank you RHE^2! Your suggested fix to ...2.3.2/include/limits.h, line 11 (which originally said: #include <syslimits.h> and has been changed to read: #include <sys/limits.h>) made everything fly! I now have a working gcc-2.3.2! For the info of others, this is a sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3 configuration in my home directory (as configure's prefix.) The fix is attributed to rheiger@renext.eiger.olivetti.ch (Richard H. E. Eiger). Mr. Eiger is still unsure whether this fix will hold up. I can state that the things I have tried so far have worked just fine, and that includes a 'make check' after the 'make all' (but does not include much of anything else since I'm only a C++ egg...) So what's up with that? -Jim
