The config files that come from MIT for x11r5 specify -O2 when compiling with gcc. Since x11r5 was distributed several versions of gcc ago, does anybody know if I can use -O3? The machines I'd be doing this on are a DECstation with a MIPS cpu, Sun 4, and Sun 3. Thanks.
