Dear NetNewsReaders, I am trying to get gprof working on the Motorola 88k with gcc version 2.2.2. I am not the original person who installed the gcc compiler but I have access to all of it's sources. I did retrieve gprof from prep and compiled it ok. When I try to compile a program with the -pg option I get an error saying the loader cannot find gcrt0.o. I cannot find any references to how these startup files are built and then where they reside so the linker can find them. Please email me any enlightenment you may have on the subject! Thanks! Ken A.
