Gentlemen:

	I'm trying to compile 'gcc-2.1' in an Intel 386 based machine
with the SCO System V Version 3.2 operating system. SCO encapsulates
COFF. Because of this, I have attempted to compile 'gas-1.38.1' with
the COFF patches. This also has failed. When compiling the 'symbols.c'
file, the compiler reports:

Stop.

	Also, in a previous attempt, I used the 'libconvert' shell script
(in the binutils-1.9 distribution), but it also gave errors when running
'robotussin' to the library files.

	Can you help me ?
