I have the following problem while compiling gcc 2.3.1 on a MIPS.
I configured the system with "configure --target=mips-mips-sysv"
and I had no problem. Then I start compiling with the following
command "make LANGUAGES=c". After a while, cc fail to
compile c-lex.c by giving a Bus error.

The os is : RISC/os (UMIPS) 4.52
The compiler is : MIPS Computer System 2.20

Any idea why this bus error append ?

If GCC crashes when you build it, don't post a message on gnu.gcc.help.
That is a bug, and what you should do is read the Bugs chapter
in the GCC manual and then mail a bug report to bug-gcc@prep.ai.mit.edu.
