Debugging gcc -g compiled code on HPPA (9000 710)

I have built gcc 2.3.2, including the patch to support the -g
debugging option, for an HP 9000 710, running HP-UX 8.07 A.

Gcc compiles fines, and supports the -g option, however HP's debugger,
xdb, cannot access the symbol table that gcc creates. I would like to
know if there is fix for this other than possibly using gdb?

Thanx,

Take a look at the man page under debugging options.
