I am trying to get GCC 2.3.1 up and running under SCO Unix 3.2.v4. Has
anyone gotten this to run using SCO's as and ld? According to the
README.ENCAP file one needs to use the GNU as and ld. Is this file up to
date? It mentions a utility 'robotussin'. Is this utility needed under
SCO?

any help, pointers, comments would be greatly appreciated,

2.3.1 does not work on SCO. Bugs were fixed in 2.3.3 and I think it
does work on SCO.

Since 2.3.3 fixes a lot of bugs, I hope everyone will installing 2.3.1
and 2.3.2 as of now. If you know of a site distributing the old
versions, please ask them to distribute 2.3.3 instead.

I don't think that file has ever been up to date.

You don't need GNU as or GNU ld with GCC 2.3.
