this is such a freakin complicated process! i just want a c++ compiler on my
box. i'm running sunos 4.1.3, i do:
configure
make LANGUAGES=c
make stage1
make CC="stage1/xgcc -Bstage1/" CFLAGS="-g -O"
make objc-runtime CC="stage2/xgcc -Bstage2/" CFLAGS="-g -O"
and all seems to go well. then i type:
make install CC="stage2/xgcc -Bstage2/" CFLAGS="-g -O" LANGUAGES="LIST"
and i get:
Fatal error: Don't know how to make target list
what gives? also, at what point after all this typing, assuming i get it
working properly, do i get to compile c++ code and are there any example

I truly hope you really didn't type LANGUAGES="LIST"
Just leave languages off of the make line if you want all languages
built. c, c++, and objc are all made and installed by default
