Can anyone help me use GCC with SCO Unix in order to produce shared libraries. Currently it reports -shared as an unrecognized option, but I presume that this is because it hasnt been ported to SCo complettely, because "man ld" implies that SCO can deal with shared libraries. I dont mind if I have to use SCO's "ld" for the final step, but I'd hate to give up gcc for the .c -> .o steps because gcc is so much better than SCO's cc. - Mitra
