I just compiled GDB-4.6 for the HPPA (HP800s), using the gdb-4.6 sources plus the files in pa-gsb-4.6.tar.Z. GDB compiled fine, after having to tweak a couple of things (hppa-tdep.o was not in the link line, so some symbols ended up being missing). However, someone here ran his program inside gdb, and had it dump core. GDB was then unable to find any debugging symbols in the binary. Did I mis-install something? Is it a known bug? Is there a fix? Thank you.
