Our company has recently set up a debugging environment using
GCC-2.2.2 and GDB 4.5. We are using -ggdb for the compiler flag.

Our executables, libraries, and object files WITHOUT -ggdb, total ~35mb.

Executables, libraries, and object files WITH -ggdb, total over 1 GIG!

Is this normal? Is there a way to reduce this? Has anyone found
-ggdb1 to be usable?

Advance Thanks for you help.
