Subject: Single step of branch instructions on mips Hi, On the Mips R3000's, a branch or jump instruction has a single delay of one instruction. How is the the delay instruction executed when the branch/jump is executed in a single step? For example: b loop # branch instruction move r5, r8 # delay instruction loop: Thanks, son@gordian.com
