Greetings,

I am compiling version 4.7 gdb to Convex C2 (OS version 10.0.151).
I configured via the command

   configure convex-c2

Which gave the messages:

   *** opcodes does not support host c2-convex-sysv
   *** BFD does not support host c2-convex-sysv

And when I did a make, a large number of syntax errors were given, particularly
in the convex-tdep.c and convex-xdep.c and convex-pinsn.c files:

Has anyone compiled gdb on a Convex?

Jeanne,

   Version 4.7 of GDB does NOT support the onvex. I've started a port but
have been too busy of late to complete it. I hope to complete it during the
comint semester.
