Hi, This will probably be something that people are sick of by now (Murphy says it will be, at least), but I appear to get problems with pair-kerning and large fonts under ghostscript. The postscript source is output from FrameMaker. The symptoms are as follows:- characters that would normally be pair- -kerned (that is, 'fitted' together a little more 'snugly' than normal), such as a 'T' followed by an 'o', or a 'W' followed by an 'i' are actually separated by 1+ spaces. This is obviously a little disturbing. Just so as the information above isn't useless, ghostscript 2.4.1 is being run from ghostview under HP-UX 7.05 and mwm under X11R4. Cheers, Dave Woodman. ============================================================================== = My e-mail address might be woodman@bnr.ca, but Maidenhead is definitely = = in Britain...
