I noticed a problem (core dump) in 2.4.1 when generating multi-page output using the gdevepsc.c (epsonc) driver. I tried 2.5, and the problem was still there, so I went after it with purify (wonderful tool) and discovered that some of the buffers were being overrun by small amounts (1-2 bytes). I didn't analyze things close enough to understand exactly what the problem is, but I "fixed" it by adding 8 to the size of the buffers being allocated (i.e. add 8 to the size for all 3 calls to gs_malloc() in gdevepsc.c). Sorry for not being more analytical about it, but figured I should at least report what I found. ...Tim Thompson...tjt@blink.att.com...
