I'm getting tired of all the programs that use some proprietary
memory manager that's incompatible with Dos Protected Mode Interface.
I'm no DOS programmer, so maybe it's hard to use, but it just makes
the product impossible to use. I heard that a 386 protected mode
program should first check to see if something else is running in
protected mode and use DPMI if available. Then I could run gs386
in an OS/2 DOS box or a windows DOS box, and take advantage of my
semi-blazing 486/33.

P.S. Ghostscript is great otherwise. I guess I'll just have to
settle for the slow mode.
