I've examined a FontMonger .PFB font that Ghostscript will not load correctly. The problem is that the font fails to conform to the Adobe specification for Type 1 fonts in one important detail, namely, that the string of 0's after the encrypted section is not long enough. At least 512 0's are required (Adobe Type 1 Font Format, section 2.3, page 14). The font that I received, GaramondLightItalic, only had about 450 0's. This is not a bug in Ghostscript; it is a bug in FontMonger. L.
