All: When I use ghostview, even in a directory with one and only one file, e.g., doc.ps, by executing the command: ghostview doc.ps, ghostview tries to open the file doc.dvi. The file selection window claims that it tried to open doc.ps, but the error message window claims that it tried to open doc.dvi. I tried to work around the file finder by renaming doc.ps to doc.dvi and then opening doc.dvi but I still get an error message and the previewer doesn't work. I searched all the source files and there is no string "dvi" anywhere. I built the code on a VAXstation3100 that runs Ultrix4.2. Weird huh? RSVP John Zavgren zavgren@school.enet.dec.com
