I tried to use Ghostscript 2.4 to print a Postscrtip (tm) document on a Canon BJ10ex printer from a compaq 386sx laptop. The printing started OK but after correctly printing about an inch, the printer started beeping and garbled the print. For the rest of the page, the printer sometimes printed, sometimes beeped. It sounded almost like the printer was getting data too fast. Is handshaking a problem? BTW, the same document printed very well on a HP LaserJet III - good software! -- John C.
