I have installed ghostview 1.3 on some HP 700's running HP-UX 8.07. 
Because of a bug in the killing of old gs processes in 1.3 I wanted
to install ghostview 1.4.

But when I installed it I got this old problem:
"Warning: Select failed; error code 9" 
in a endless stream of messages when I clik the dismiss button
in a zoom window.

I have tried to use the BSD library as suggested in the README file but it
don't help (The HP-UX BSD library contains signal and set process group 
stuff).

Do anyone have an idea what to do to compile it on a HP-UX 700?
