[probably not the right place,  but where else?]

Has anyone used GhostScript as part of a  PS ---> Xerox 4050  path?
We've got this nice 50ppm Xerox LPS and a hunk of a CPU behind it
and I'd like to have it talk PostScript.   (please don't suggest
any of the well known  "outboard"  solutions;  I'm not interested)
