ghostview 1.3 running with ghostscript 2.5.2

Hello,

Our platform is a 486 running Unix SVR4.

We have previously been able to run ghostview 1.3 with ghostscript 2.4.2.
We have recently built ghostscript 2.5.2.

When running ghostview with ghostscript 2.5.2, ghostscript seems to receive
something unexpected.

The error message is:

    Unrecoverable error: undefined in execute0
    Operand stack:
        --nostringval--
    Unrecoverable error, exit code 1


This happens with any postscript file.  Does anyone have any ideas about
what might be wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
