I have compiled ghostscript 2.5 on an HP9000/822 running HP/UX 7.0. My installation includes the "ppm" and "ppmraw" drivers, whose output I have successfully piped into a formatting utility for a 24-bit color CIRRUS laser plotter. Two issues I could use help with: 1 - When rendering extremely large rastas (7Kx8K), the green component of the pixmap is "clipped" into the lower four of the eight bits. The problem does not occur for smaller rastas (1Kx1K, for example), but I haven't determined empirically where the break point is. Any suggestions? 2 - Where are the "ppm" and "ppmraw" formats documented? How do they differ from each other? I can be reached as jkoes@chevron.com Thanks, Kobi.
