I'm trying to use ghostscript (version 2.5.2) to view the output of Chris Lewis' troff->ps program on a PC runing DV/X. Ghostscript puts the entire 8.5 X 11'' page on the screen at once, which results in extremely small letters. I tried playing with the geometry settings, but all that does is to make the window size change, with no effect on the scale. I also tried to change the scale manuall; i.e., I cut down the page length in my troff code to 5.5i and input the following at the gs prompt: 1 2 scale (psfilename) run This works correctly for the first page, but reverts to the preceding behavior thereafter (although now I get 2 miniature troff pages per screen). Is this a bug? If not, how do I get the scale to "stick" for the entire ps file? Finally, is someone working on scrolling capablility like found in xtroff, suntroff, or like pageview? This clearly is the way to go. Thanks in advance David Ronis

This clearly is the way to go. You could try using ghostview. I believe it sataifies all of your requests. -- Michael Salmon #include <standard.disclaimer> #include <witty.saying> #include <fancy.pseudo.graphics> Ericsson Telecom AB Stockholm
