Hello,
I didnt see a gnu.ghostscript news group in our news system, so I will post my
question here.
I would like to setup a ghostscript printer queue on our decstation 5000/133.
It would use LAT to our terminal server to connect to a HP Laser Jet 3.
Below is my current printcap entry (without the ghostscript):
lp8|8|hp3|bin|laser:\
:af=/usr/adm/lp8acct:\
:br#9600:\
:ct=lat:\
:fc#0177777:\
:fs#03:\
:if=/usr/lib/lpdfilters/lj250of:\
:lf=/usr/adm/lp8err:\
:lp=/dev/tty18:\
:mc#20:\
:mx#0:\
:op=PORT_14:\
:os=:\
:pl#66:\
:pw#80:\
:rw:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd8:\
:sh:\
:ts=VISTA1:\
:uv=4.0:\
:xc#0177777:\
:xf=/usr/lib/lpdfilters/xf:\
:xs#044000:
I would like to have a printcap entry called ps, that would automatically
run the files thru gs and then print them to this printer. NOTE, that this
queue would remain there.
Sorry, but DEC has never improved their fs, fc, xs, and xc entries to some-
thing more readable (like SUN has done).
Thanks in advance,
Jesse Tutterrow
