A few Ghostscript bugs(?)

Here's a few things I've been having trouble with:
1. Making gs ver 2.5.2: When compiling iscan.c, I get errors telling me
uchar, ushort, uint, and ulong are being redefined. This happens
regardless of c compiler used (gcc or cc). This is an AIX system, RISC6000
   hardware.
2. When running GhostScript on file "issue1-1992.ps", I get an error
(/undefined in /DVILaserFonts) while on seventh page. This file
is from the FTP site, math.ulf.edu, in directory /pub/ulam/volume1/issue1.
From what I can see, /DVILaserFonts IS defined in the file near the
beginning. This error occurs whether I use the AIX gs or the IBM-PC gs
and is independent of the device driver chosen.
