Most of the incoming mail and news articles that were accepted this
last weekend on prep.ai.mit.edu were lost.  The time range was from
1am EST Saturday 2 March to 11pm EST Sunday 3 March.

If, before 12:01 am Monday 4 March, you sent mail to one of the
appended GNU mailing list or posted an article to one of the appended
GNU newsgroups and you have NOT yet seen it, please re-send/re-post
it.  we are particularly concerned about lost bug reports.

Likewise, if, before 12:01 am Monday 4 March, you sent mail directly
to a FSF or AI Lab user or guest on any machine in the ai.mit.edu
domain (USER@HOST.ai.mit.edu) and have not gotten a response, you can
resent it.

BTW, help-gcc, help-g++, help-gnu-emacs, and gnu-emacs-sources went
back to immediate delivery a few days ago.  The backlog of messages
was cleared.  We are still working on improving the mailing list
servers we use, but expect no more capacity problems in the near term.
