   He has released a number of CD's of this art form. Is the owner 
   of the Alternative Tentacles record label and is the former 
   vocalist/songwriter for the Dead Kennedys, one of this countries 
   most influential punk bands. His label primarily releases political

   and Angela Davis political talks. He tours college campuses and

   He is an enrolled green in California. He ran for mayor of 
   San Francisco in 1979, receiving just over 6,000 votes, about 
   3.5 percent. His "spoken word" performances have been described 
   as a colloquial Noam Chomsky.
