DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR:
The "standard" Bourne Shell under Ultrix doesn't support the
${foo:-bar} construct and so the
        BROKEN_SPOOLER_F:AGS=${BROKEN_SPOOLER_FLAG:-7}
line in configure causes a "sh: bad substitution" abort

SUGGESTED FIX [optional]:
Two choices
1. Don't use ${foo:-bar} type constructs, this could freak out other
   old BSD based Bourne shells.
2. Tell Ultrix users to execute configure using the System V Bourne
   shell that is supplied with Ultrix, ie "/bin/sh5 configure"
