GROFF VERSION: 1.06

MACHINE: HP 9000/827

OS: HP-UX 8.02
[The operating system you are using. For example, `SunOS 4.1.1']

COMPILER: g++ 2.3/gcc.2.3.u3

INPUT FILES:

COMMAND LINE: gmake

DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR: g++ fails in the compilation of
libgroff/tmpfile.cc, with a complaint about conflicting delcarations
for 'int getopt getopt(int, const char **, const char *)' from
lib.h and /usr/include/sys/unistd.h

SUGGESTED FIX: in lib.h, change:
int getopt getopt(int, const char **, const char *) to
int getopt(int, char * const [], const char *)

which is how it is declared in /usr/include/sys/unistd.h on the HP.
Note that <unistd.h> includes <sys/unistd.h> on the HP.
Possibly gcc is overzealous about saying that these delcarations conflict,
but I don't understand the declarations well enough to know.
They look similar: const char **, and char * const []
