But it is not the use of the software which places you under the
obligation. You have a legal obligation to not include FSF software in
a proprietory product (paraphrased) but that obligation exists whether
or not you use the software. There is no *additional* legal obligation
incurred in you using the software so it is in that sense free.

You, and others, will never agree that the FSF definition of "free" is
a reasonable one, so why not agree to differ. This interminable debate
never gets anywhere.
