"Your acceptance of this License" means that you agree to distribute source
code. GPL v2 section 3 describes what it means to distribute source code:
a) include the source code with the binary; b) include a written offer to
deliver source code; or c) include the original author's offer to deliver
source code. It also says, "If distribution of executable or object code
is made by offering access to copy from a designated place, then offering
equivalent access to copy the source code from the same place counts as
distribution of the source code"; this covers FTP servers.

From section 4: "Any attempt otherwise to copy, modify, sublicense or
distribute the Program is void, and will automatically terminate your
rights under this License." It *doesn't* say that violating the agreement
gives third parties the right to take source code that you haven't
distributed.
