I just wanted to mention that in the premiere of the new magazine, WIRED, there's an article about Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation. It seems more complementary about the man than it does the foundation---not that they had a problem with the FSF. They just pointed out some problems, such as funding shortages due to the recession (just like everyone else), the delays on Emacs 19 and the GNU OS, etc. Anyway, you might want to pick up the magazine. It's based in San Francisco, and it's a premiere issue, so I'm not so sure everyone everywhere can get it. But, it has interesting articles about cellular phone hacking, Japanese 'otaku' (super-nerds, basically), HDTV, and a bunch of tidbits about interesting technology. The formatting and typography is a little frustrating, but the articles are good. I recommend it. Michael C.
