GNU diff question: how to use
#1681

Hello,

I come from the DOS world where diff is a strange word. Recently I down-
loaded GNU-diff (DOS-Version) and learnt by experimenting (not by
documentation as there was none) how to produce a diff. But would like
to know how to use the diff-files to update an older source file by help
of the diff-file to a newer one.

Should be no problem for UNIX gurus...
Thank you.

Please E-mail directly, Carsten.
