Please ignore the previous two posting, obviously I fixed the problem.

For those who are interested I linked /usr/local/lib/news/inews to
/usr/local/emacs/info/inews and it works. 

If anyone would like to enlighten me as to the 'correct' way to do
this I would appreciate it.
