GNU Bison version 1.18 --- documentation; plea for explanation

Hi.  I'm using GNU Bison version 1.18, and I'd like to know about the
use of the bison.hairy parser.

1.  Is this actually working or is it waiting for version 2?
2.  Is there any documentation available for the %semantic_parser and
    %guard keywords?  If so, how can I get it?

This is actually a re-request---I mailed in the initial approach last
Sunday night, Nov. 1.  But I haven't heard anything back, so I don't
know if my last request failed somehow to reach you.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
