How do I unmangle my tar files?

   When I restore a GNU-tarred directory, I get these @MaNgLeD files.
How do I put those files back where they belong. I see a psuedo-file
called "././@MaNgLeD_NaMeS--Mangled file names--" at the end of the
archive; can I extract the contents of this, or am I overlooking some
option that puts these back for me?
