lehman@pinkpanther.llnl.gov (Sean Lehman) writes: I am running version 0.17 of the GNU Graphics Utilities. Can I do scatter plots using the "graph" command? If you want points in the plot indicated by symbols and not connected by lines use 'graph +linestyle -1 +symbol cross'. Are there routines to display 2D data either as a surface or as a "flat" display (with a user-specified look up table)? GNU Graphics doesn't do perspective plots of bivariate data, but there are other free programs that do. I use something called plot3d. The sources are on kappa.rice.edu (128.42.4.7) in pub/plot3d.tar.Z. Rich
