Program: GNU who
Version: in shellutils-1.8
System: AIX 3.2.2 on IBM RS/6000 model 220
Environment: running Xwindows under xdm
display device is an IBM XStation 120

Description: The command ``who am i'', when run from an xterm window
launched from an xdm-controlled X windows session, gives no output.
The same command run from an aixterm window, or from an xterm started
up under xinit, gives the correct result. The command ``who'' with
no arguments, and the command ``whoami'', work correctly from either
type of window. The IBM-supplied who program works correctly in all
cases.
