Did you apply the patch I pushed out about a year ago to gdbm 1.5? There is a bug in the cache management routines in the reorganise code. We have been running gdbm 1.5 on several very large databases for over a year now with no problems. I mailed the patch to the author and on this list, but short of that I don't know where else to push it to! If anyone does want it then send me some mail. -- phil ___/ / /_/) / Phil Male, Director, Information Systems Engineering / /_ '/ Computer Newspaper Services, The Bishops Manor, Howden, DN14 7BL / / /// New York's got the ways and means; Just won't let you be. -- The Grateful Dead
